As a technician who has been working in the packaging equipment industry for twelve years, the newly installed automatic packaging systems in the workshop have opened my eyes. When debugging equipment for a Zhejiang food company last Friday, the customer's workshop director Lao Li joked: "Is your automatic packaging system afraid to have eyes? The grasping accuracy is more stable than our master!"
This is really not flattery. Since our factory introduced German sensor technology to develop the third-generation automatic packaging system, the visual positioning module of the equipment has indeed subverted the tradition. I remember that at this time last year, we were still worried about the misalignment of manual packing. Now this system can not only automatically identify packaging boxes of different specifications, but also adjust the gripping angle of special-shaped products by itself. This is a breakthrough that our technical team has achieved after three months of hard work on the drawings.
To talk about the most tangible changes, we have to look at the account book of Director Wang in the packaging workshop. In previous years, we always had to recruit more than 20 temporary workers during the peak season. This year, we relied on three automatic packaging systems to withstand the Double Eleven order wave. "Now there are only two inspectors on the night shift, and the equipment can complete the whole process of palletizing, sealing and labeling by itself." When Lao Wang said this, he was still holding the newly printed production report in his hand. The uniform green qualified logo on it made people feel at ease.
Recently, nine out of ten customers who came to the factory for inspection asked to see the demonstration of the automatic packaging system. The milk powder company purchasing group received last week was particularly impressive. The sample cans they brought included both round cans and square boxes, as well as several limited edition packages with curves. Our system performed an "improvisational show" on the spot, seamlessly switching packaging modes for different can types, and even automatically calibrating the direction of the commemorative logo on the can body. Before leaving, the team leader Lin slapped his thigh and said, "We should have used this intelligent packaging technology long ago! Just the manual inspection of the direction process wastes us three days of work every month." Of course, the equipment upgrade is inseparable from the escort of our after-sales team. Last month, the remote diagnosis for the Hunan spicy snack company was also included in the internal case collection - the customer's new employee accidentally touched the parameter setting, causing the automatic packaging system to frequently pause. Our engineers completed the fault location and system reset through the cloud control platform in ten minutes, which would have delayed production for at least half a day in the past. Watching these "iron buddies" in the workshop running day and night, I, an old technician, feel warm in my heart. Yesterday, when I passed by the finished product area, I happened to catch a glimpse of the automatic packaging system that was about to be shipped to Southeast Asia doing the final inspection. The data jumping on the control screen seemed to say: China's intelligent packaging revolution, this time our factory really caught the first train!
