Based on the characteristics of the aviation transportation environment, the ply-pack R&D team launched dynamic airflow purification technology to redefine the cleanliness threshold of aseptic packaging.
Traditional sterilization solutions rely on chemical reagents or high-temperature treatment, which can easily cause deformation of packaging materials or residual hidden dangers. The innovation of dynamic airflow purification technology lies in controlling the air flow path in the workshop through precise algorithms to form a directional circulation clean air curtain. The airflow covers the filling area in a laminar state, continuously stripping off suspended particles, and at the same time carrying a nano-scale filter membrane to perform secondary purification on the return air. Actual measured data shows that this technology can stably control the concentration of environmental microorganisms at ≤0.1CFU/m³, which is 10 times stricter than the International Air Catering Association (IFSA) standard.
After an international airline introduced this technology, the qualified rate of its meal packaging increased from 98.7% to 100%. Operators reported that the dynamic airflow purification system can automatically identify the start and stop status of the equipment and intelligently adjust the airflow intensity - the air curtain isolation effect is enhanced when the filling machine is running, and pulse deep cleaning is started when the machine is shut down for maintenance. This adaptive ability reduces the energy consumption of the production line by 22%, and completely solves the industry pain point that the heat sealing area of the packaging bag is susceptible to contamination. The dynamic airflow purification technology has been connected with the blockchain traceability platform to record the microbial detection data of each batch of packaging in real time. When the airline meal box arrives at an altitude of 10,000 meters, passengers can scan the QR code to trace the airflow purification parameters during production. This transparent quality control system is becoming a new competitive barrier in the aviation food supply chain.
