‌Solving the dilemma of high-cold production ply-pack intelligent packaging system reshapes the efficiency of Russian companies' production lines

In the extremely cold environment of minus 30¡æ, food packaging equipment often faces problems such as freezing of transmission systems and embrittlement of sealing materials, which directly restrict the annual production capacity of companies in northern Russia. In response to this industry pain point, the cold-resistant intelligent packaging system developed by the ply-pack special technical team in 18 months recently completed a full-season pressure test at a nut processing plant in St. Petersburg, successfully achieving 2,000 hours of continuous trouble-free operation of the equipment, and providing innovative solutions for customers in high-cold areas in Eastern Europe.

After an in-depth investigation of the operating scenarios of the Russian customer's factory, the ply-pack engineering team carried out a triple adaptability upgrade on the core equipment: using military-grade cold-resistant alloy to reconstruct the transmission gear set to ensure that the bite accuracy of 0.1mm is maintained in the -35¡æ environment; a double-layer dynamic temperature control sealing device is developed to maintain the elastic performance of key components through the equipment self-heating compensation system; a special anti-condensation circuit protection module is configured to effectively avoid electrical failures caused by low temperature and high humidity environments. Ivanov, the production director of the nut processing plant, reported: "The shutdown maintenance rate of the pillow packaging machine after the transformation has dropped by 76% in blizzard weather, and the average monthly production capacity of a single production line has exceeded 450 tons."

Considering the timeliness problem of cross-border technical support, ply-pack has innovatively built a "cloud + terminal" dual-track service system. Each set of exported equipment is pre-installed with a Russian version of the intelligent diagnosis system, which can automatically identify 132 common fault types and generate three-dimensional maintenance instructions. The Moscow spare parts storage center now reserves exclusive accessories worth more than $800,000. Combined with the 48-hour response mechanism of the local engineering team, the equipment maintenance cycle has been shortened from the original 14 days to 72 hours. Recently, through remote guidance, a St. Petersburg customer independently completed the sudden troubleshooting of the feeding mechanism in just 3 hours, avoiding the production capacity loss that required cross-border support from Chinese technicians in the past.

In response to the special needs of the Russian market for composite packaging materials, ply-pack has developed multi-material adaptive technology based on the original equipment. The new packaging unit automatically identifies 7 types of packaging substrates such as PE, aluminum foil, and degradable composite materials through an intelligent visual system, and the packaging speed switching loss time is compressed from the industry average of 25 minutes to 8 minutes. This technology has been successfully applied to the hose packaging project of a daily chemical company in Moscow, helping customers complete the uninterrupted production of 6 products with different viscosities such as toothpaste, hand cream, and hair dye on the same production line.

ply-pack is expanding its service boundaries from single equipment supply to full-cycle capacity optimization. In the cooperation case with a dairy company in Kazan, the technical team not only provides intelligent packaging production lines, but also reserves equipment expansion interfaces and capacity improvement space based on the customer's product planning for the next three years. This "dynamic matching" service model enables customers to achieve a 40% increase in production capacity through modular upgrades when adding a new cheese stick product line, avoiding the cost of replacing the entire machine under the traditional model.

At present, ply-pack's market share in the Russian industrial packaging equipment market has exceeded 19%, and it has implemented intelligent production line transformation for 37 local companies.
